Domestic violence is a crime that still to this day goes unseen. The reason being, is the linear concept of what domestic violence really is. It is true that smacking your wife or punching your husband is domestic violence. But we never really think about lying or hiding money as a form of domestic violence. Nor do we understand that sex is a weapon, as many people “guilt” their significant other into participating in intercourse. Well, if that isn’t a jolt of reality right? Using another parent to relay information to another parent not only puts a child in the middle of a shitty situation, but it creates animosity between the child and one of the parents. Especially if there is nasty messages being passed between.
Tonight we talk a little about these types of engagements within a domestic relationship, we also explore some of the things that happen between a parent and their child, a domestic partnership and some past rantings and growth of me personally.
