I know, it has been a while since I stopped by. Sometimes, just happens that way. But here I am yet again with another story in the “follow me” journey of Gumball Head.
I have started the trendy app trend lately and have found it to be a fantastic motivator to wrap up some things I have been wanting to do for quite some time. Primarily create my art studio, and have it be simply a neutral space to work on art as time allows. I also intend to afford a place to meditate and of course, music will be a part of this space as well.
It has helped me reach another level of my recovery where I am starting to crave visual reward. I used to be driven by that, but then I decided my brain was enough…and well…..just like my looks-you see where that got me. But truthfully, I must say; I call myself a writer, but I cannot STAND having a clutter of books I probably won’t ever read again…..do I have to be a reader to be a writer?
It is easier to claim the creativity as my own I suppose, if I don’t divulge where my intellect comes from. But I will give you a hint…..my education started in the streets, but ended where the pricing couldn’t be beat. They have music, video games, movies and books…..all for completely free!
If you are a follower of the GBH facebook page, thank you. I know that the platform there is very specific, as it is here on the website. The other forum, it is very dynamic. It combines the families and addicts….just like my hope for the whole program!!!!
