Why I Hate St. PATRICK’S day

I don’t. It was the birth day of GBH and a change in my life that can only simply be expressed as….monumental.

2017-DUI-St. PATS….you know how it ends.

I took it as a mission, and have not given up on it. 7 years is where shit breaks down in life for me. But GBH is in full swing. One of the best thing about owning a business, is that a series may be 3,5 or 7 games-but I don’t “have” to leave the area when it’s over.

This has enabled myself, as well as my family, to enjoy the fruits of our labor as we visit different cities. Sometimes a new city DAILY!

Travelling has it’s ups and downs. I have always wanted to travel, had Wanderlust. Now, we travel full time.

A family of 6, with age ranges 4 months to 16 years. Even all my yeas as a manager, supervisor, salesperson, director etc….I have NEVER been faced with the challenges of not being able to fire your loved ones. It’s okay, the jester is cute….and the queen makes a mean bowl of oatmeal…….But yep-you read that correct. Travel full time.

We are wrapping up the first leg of the season with a departure from Missouri tomorrow. I will divulge the information and places we visited, as well as bullpen info once we arrive at next destination. Now we have a month of content to write about, so this is going to be magnificent to talk about.

You all know that I am not a “lets go ses all the landmarks” kind of guy….I want grit, grafitti, culture. I want to feel like a badass in a town I don’t know. I love the exploration of streets that are bad or rivers with names like “dead mans pass”.

Its exciting! And now…..I am doing it with my wife and kids…..everyday. I mean-how cool is that. If you are just joining on the journey, welcome. If you are here as a recent interaction with myself or one of my associates, please know that while I drop hints here and there….I do my best to keep my career and location private to the best of my ability.

June is JAMPACKED, and will be doing some good ole American stuff in July. Vegas in August? And back in Michigan in September for my favorite annual conference GRRCON. May be a swingback through Springfield….we will see 🙂

I have been trying to get around to providing the schedule, but between travel, Llamas and kids….I need an assistant. But hey! That’s a story for a different time.
