Wow, this place offers some amazing shots when it comes to drones. The purple lightning that comes off the Gulf of Mexico is breathtaking. Oh, sorry-I am referring to Lake Charles, Louisiana. A smaller than I am used to town, in the southern portion of Louisiana.
But-this doesn’t mean we cannot travel and be some where rather quickly, this town sits on I-10 and is easy on/off every few miles. Almost scary if you think about it. Regardless, recently I have been using my drone for shots, and as I stated initially-amazing photography. I will be uploading some of the footage on our Youtube channel, talking about it on our PodBean and of course I will post them on all our socials as soon as I can.
Since we got here, we have settled in quite well. Some of the experiences that we have had in a nutshell include our first family trip to Whataburger, we belong to a church here, and another church because of our gym membership. But you see, I keep coming back….to that drone. So much out there in this world to see. I am thankful that I am seeing these things. I am thankful god has given me the mindset to take adversity and apply it.
The drone, has become a meditation technique for me. My closeness to my dad in heaven if you will. I am not ashamed to feel that way, nor should you shame me for feeling that way. I spent most of my life with my back turned to the answer that was looking over my shoulder the whole time…..sometimes the sun at your back isn’t there to burn and annoy you, it’s there to urge you.
This crossover journey-go big or go away journey has been 45 years long. It didn’t start when Rennen was born, or Caden, or even Marlea. This was a LIFELONG adventure that was put in place on purpose. If you think about it….people tell stories all the time. But you see, NOONE likes that Hallmark Channel…..
I will post more in a bit, just wanted an opportunity to kind of ninja brag about how cool things are these days. Thanks man-you kinda held out on me.
