Shaken, Stirred or Blended

I have been reading alot lately about different advertising and sales techniques for internet activity. I have been looking as we sell services, as well as tangibles, and I am trying to figure out how to drive the sales to produce more income. I prefer it to be with clients, as our staffing needs more clientele. That said-we are officially accepting new clients again.

I have been so focused writing the new book, that I have stepped away from the social media game a little bit. Sadly, I am aware that when our absence is noticed, we need to do some repair to the erosion when we return. Thankfully, I have a great group of supporters, a loving and supportive wife, and friends like you that understand that IF I lack in one location, I try my best to accommodate in others.

One thing I have learned in being self employed, is the importance of structure. I broke the concept down in the title, but I will explain it in more detail here. This can apply in multiple locations in life too by the way-this is just correlation to a business concept currently.

If we look at Shaken for example, this is one of those businesses that are solo, or a partnership that offers a service….such as life coaching. One that does not have a corporate structure, but is more “figure it out as we go”. Life coaching is similar but wildly different than sober coaching in that most of the stuff is understandable and leads back to an underlying condition such AS addiction. When we find that, we become shaken momentarily-but then move on and utilize that as an experience. So, success in accidentally uncovering something bigger than initially intended, may leave you shaken. Or, accidentally aware-however you see it to be. A low demographic of information sharing as a result-typically with partner, or small group of likeminded professionals.

Stirred is when we have a grouping of people, approximately five or more, and they all have their own idea of how business should be operated, with optimal input, but lacks substantiated leadership. Especially in the time of adversity. Commonly, these people look to one person to lead, even though it may not be appropriate to nominate the one that gets chosen. This sometimes leads to resentment from those that are not in support of the elected leader. Potentially leading to defiance, retaliation or even harm. A majority of the population is on board, but there are rogue. The worst person in this situation-is the chosen one. However, this is how they build the stoicism and experience. That happens in mixed 😉

Mixed is when you have a little bit of everything, as you probably assumed. This is where you have a leadership structure in place, you have your management, leaders/supervisors, workers and followers/haters. This is as harmonious as can be, regardless of business size. Each grouping, broken down further-or rather imploding as the employment demands increase.

The economic times are still at a shrug. The unemployment rates still undetermined, because once we run out of individual benefit-we are no longer considered unemployed. Those on assisted health insurance and food assistance are also in distress as their benefits can and will run out eventually. Sadly, this IS the true pandemic and is quickly becoming survival of the fittest. This is what I have feared for a long time, and why I began to create a large network of people.

Sadly, I see that network enveloping greed and want, more than generosity and love. Business is expected to return to normal, but a lot of employers and employees are scared to put the risk into the effort-as they are unaware of what the future holds. The employers that were paying twenty-five dollars per hour, for fourteen dollar an hour employees, no longer need said twenty-fivers anymore. Business need has changed, and there are a lot of teen per hour employees looking for work.
