In this episode, I basically explain my 2024 GrrCon lecture, and simplify the outcome of my observations. I speak of outside influences and how life is affected by what the kids see and hear on a day to day basis. It is an upcoming crisis, that parents aren’t mentally prepared for yet. Suit Up! It’s battle time.
Here is a brief snapshot of how they are behaving in the video game lobbies. BentOrBroken is an unattended kid who sent me an unsolicited text message on the Playstation network. This is just the beginning of the conversation.
He then proceeded to ask me to join his voice chat so he could find me and “fuck me up irl” as well. I left the conversation at that time, after informing him it is a bad idea to make threats to people on the internet. He then told me he would send me “something real nice” in the mail. The drama continues…..I will add more examples as I see them
The most recent update as of 6 pm EST on 10/6/2024-the account has been suspended due to threatening behavior. While I am not trying to “prove” anything per se, what I am saying is that the issue is growing, and even the video game companies are seeing the issues with people. Even if the threats are idle.
