An Intro To 30 Day Stay; The Air BnB Way!

What an amazing, and beautiful journey we all get to experience every day. We wake up, take that first deep breath, some of us cough like we work in the coal mines, then exhale. THAT right there, is purpose. That right there is where you can turn your day into bitchin, or bitchy. I (myself), am beginning to write this blog for a couple reasons. Number one, I don’t have that website built yet, so I need to ensure I have my content written so that I can meet deadlines. Number two, you can see what happens, when we do what we do, and how we do it. One little spot at a time.

So, let’s jump right into the Journey. I wanted to start this off with the whole “yep, that’s me, I bet you are wondering how I got here” thing….but decided otherwise. That’s trendy, yet fun to know that you recited that in your head after you read it. I AM right, aren’t I? Anyway, we had a little under sixty-seven dollars in the bank account. We decided to finally take the dive and sell our home. What came from that at this point, just two months later-is nary what we had expected. We were late to closing in typical “B-Hatz” style…..wait….let’s go back a little.

We listed our home and decided to move to Ohio on Thanksgiving weekend. The Reds have a new bullpen, the Raven’s were contenders, and we….well we were excited to start a new life, with new experiences, in new locations. The world as we knew it, was about to change, except-we were super stoked, and quickly humbled. Travelling with a four month old, two year old, four year old, fifteen year old, in two separate cars….was good, but not great.

We tried to do a long stretch on the first trip. A six hour trip, became ten-with diaper changes, meltdowns and an overall lack of sleep from the night before as I had just acquired the Playstation Five a few days earlier, and I was nervous about leaving the comforts of Ohio, much more so that leaving those of Michigan. We were officially-cutting the cord. Leaving 100 percent of everything we learned about being adults, friends, enemies, spouses, parents etc….legitimately on our own.

No more being able to rely on my bigger kids to intervene in the time of need (been a good while by the way), no more best friends, acquaintences or local connections. Raw dogging life with a wife and four FUCKING KIDS!!!!!!!!!

The one thing I have dreamed of, my entire….fucking life. Admit it! You would LOVE to travel, and see new shit all the time, but you are too scared to do it. You haven’t allowed yourself permission to do so. Because-responsibilities. I am forty-five years old, I have been married four times, to remarkable women, I have a total of six children, and have had jobs you would only wish of having. I have been wealthy, poor, homeless but not house less, houseless but not homeless, homeless, displaced etc. I am a drunk in recovery, cross addicted to amphetamines, also in recovery. AND I SUPPORT (but do not necessarily endorse) those who eat their broccoli.

WELCOME TO THE GUMBALL HEAD WORLD TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the introduction, I have yet to catch you up to speed (for security reasons) but, if you follow our socials, you follow the journey (somewhat) live. Think MTV’s Real World, without the script, and with children. No RV, unless the price is right. Working on the American Dream for as long as we can, to try to instill culture in our children, that will long translate to other people in their future as well.

It is a self healing, self helping, family bonding and sharing journey. Struggles, fighting-like I said…Real World, without the script. While I work on several business concepts, working as a consultant, and finding local places in need of help-we are doing what we always dreamed of. If we end up poor financially, collectively we have enough skill to make it work, regardless. Please, follow us on our journey-check out our socials. Stay tuned for more, follow the wordpress page, share it with everyone. I am old school cool, where word of mouth spoken from one another, is better than an influenced handful of people-on a social media app.

I may want to mention a few other things. I am an author, travel v/blogger, rancher, and I may or may not some some athletes. Our network grows daily, would you like to be a part of it too?

You pack the lunch, Alpaca Ranch (The Blue Cheese Ranch, Lake Charles LA. Est 2024), and we will see you as we tour our beautiful country as a family, relying on successful business decisions, donations and word of mouth endorsements/sponsorhips. The link is in the bio, the giveaways are on Tik Tok, and the Merch is on Etsy. What more can I say other than I love you; Keep Going!
